Buckingham Palace visit

I was lucky enough to visit Buckingham Palace for the tour of the State Rooms and the Diamond exhibition “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration”.
It was wonderful, the diamonds were so beautiful. I loved seeing 7 of the principal stones cut from The Cullinan Diamond, and Queens Victoria’s small Diamond Crown that she wore in mourning.
The excellent book which accompanies the exhibition “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration” by Caroline de Guitaut shows the crown and all the other pieces.
…I also very much enjoyed my latté at Buckingham Palace Garden Cafe…
