Rock n Roll Bride revisits our jewellery workshop for a crafty hen party!

We were so pleased to welcome Kat Williams, blog writer of the hugely acclaimed Rock n Roll Bride, back to our jewellery school last month. Kat, her sister Rachel (the hen) and a lovely bunch of eager friends took part in our Hen Party  jewellery  making workshop for the first of their hen party activities in the run up to Rachel’s wedding.

Kat wrote a great piece about the day and included some amazing photos (taken by Kat Forsyth Photography (katforsyth.com/) on her blog. Here’s a sneak peek…..

As with all our one day workshops, this course is suitable for complete beginners and the group were shown step by step silversmithing techniques, and given plenty of guidance and advice to make a finished piece they could go home in (and maybe wear on the big day?). Everyone had a choice of making either pendant/earrings or cufflinks in silver and as you can see the results were fantastic!

Our one-day jewellery workshop is the perfect activity to kick-start a hen night or weekend. We can book the village cafe for you to lunch in and coffee/tea and biscuits are supplied to fuel the day. Raise a toast to the hen and your creative success with a glass of fizz in the shop at the end of the day.

Please Contact us to discuss your party, available dates and what you’d like to make. A one day workshop for a hen party costs £150 per person (includes silver, materials and refreshments). Max group size is eight but if you would like fewer people to take part then payment for eight is still required.

Visit Jewellery School pages for more information about Rachel’s workshop and courses in Wheathampstead.
